MiamiCatamarans was founded in 2001. Jacques and his family have a passion for the ocean, they manage the Hobie Club to create a fun and loving atmosphere. To save the tradition of the famous Hobie Beach, the family share their ''hobbies'' with all their fans, from beginners to experts. MiamiCatamarans is located on Hobie Beach; one of the best Hobie cat spots in the US. Back in the 80's Hobie Beach used to be always full of Hobie Cats and windsurfers. In 2009 the beaches along the Rickenbacker causeway were completely redone, giving it a new and cleaner look, parking spots were installed and a beautiful walkway was created all along the beach giving an outstanding view of the lagoon, a designated area was kept to launch sailboats (it is still Hobie Beach).

In 2011, MiamiCatamarans opened up its second location, in Dinner Key Marina, Coconut Grove, offering Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards rentals as well as Charter Boat for tours or any private/corporate events. They are now a water sports facility offering a variety of easy and fun watersports for all level of experience! Our crew will always be there and ready to assist you though out the day and make sure you are enjoying your rental. Come and join us for a great time with your friends or family out on the water.
